Joe Callan's son Joey formed the Brookhaven town technical rescue team. They never had one and he was in shock when he saw him on 9-11 video. "I'm thinking it's going to be a little local collapse of something," says Callan, who ran to Home Depot for structural lumber. The whole city would have burnt down if it wasn't for them because they were putting out hundreds of car fires,. He adds: "Once you've held all that together...you can do anything"
