God's Glory Depends on the God Who Calls
A giver does not effectually have to cause the recipient to receive the gift in order to be given full credit for in that gift. God doesn't have to effectuate or cause people to respond positively to his calling to get all the glory and the credit for calling them. Why would you steal god's glory by not giving him credit for the calling? Just because somebody resists that calling or walks away from the calling, he should get credit for all o the gifts he gives,. even to those who refuse the gift or suppress the gift.
