The Importance of Stonehenge in the Landscape
Do you think Stonehenge has that importance at this time even early on of people venturing here from maybe let's say modern-based Scotland or further afield than the surrounding landscape? Yeah, potentially at that date the only evidence we have for this is the cremations themselves from Stonehenge. Some work has been done to look at the isotopes and the bones and the isotopes can tell you about where the people were living in up to about 10 years before they died.
