The SNP Is a Normal Political Party With a Patchy Domestic Record
Sturgeon's departure leaves the SNP in disarray with big strategic questions left to answer. Scotland would be hard pressed to say that Scotland is a magically better place either than it was eight years ago, or compared to England. And so I think whoever takes over is going to have a sort of a record to defend, which is not theirs and probably not the communication of abilities of Nicholas Sturgeon for example.
