The Importance of Pride in Ourself
I was curious because famously our healthcare system is bad, but it's particularly bad. If we want to take care of ourselves, we've just got to go to the doctor like we do and like that access will be hard. I don't think it's hypocritical to like hide when you need to to feel safe. And I love to be an out loud disabled person, trans person, mad person, happy person, all over. But if I am in a hospital room and I'm needing life saving care and my doctor is dick, he can call me whatever he wants, save my life. Yeah, totally.
