The Ukraine's War on Crimea Is a Long-Term Proposal
I think the Ukrainians want to sort of get to a point where they can end this once and for all. And that includes getting other Western countries to sign on to security guarantees. At least right now it seems like the message that's being sent from the West is this is much more of a longer term proposition. I do wonder though, is again, we're providing now weapons to Ukraine that would have been completely off the table for even considering a year plus ago when the war began. Are there other things that Russia could do that would bring us even closer to the table?
