How to Be a Great Curriculum Designer for Your Music Room

This week on the podcast we're gonna talk about how to be a great curriculum designer for your music room. Backwards planning is keeping the bigger picture in mind, knowing where you want to go each nine weeks and what you're going to do to get there. There should always be a reason behind anything you're doing in your music room whether you're teaching a lesson or assessing your students so don't just pull it out willy-nilly. We'll also discuss filling in standards and concepts with an already made one then creating lesson plans around the curriculum map.
