The three immortals had trained in martial arts, and they could cut off their own heads, disembowel themselves, and boil themselves in oil. Schwansong said that that seemed exceptionally risky, like, why were they doing this again? Monkey said that when he was younger, he met someone who taught him to cut off his own head. He had never technically tried it, but no time like the present right?
