What's in the Rest of the Book?

Many leading resistance figures towards the end of European imperialism emerged as being phenomenally polymathic. Colonial bureaucracies appointed specialists where needed and largely restricted the intellectual freedom of local thinkers and artists. There are some important commentaries about who might become a polymath, whether it's possible for everyone or what it brings you. But also, there are places where he seems to have a rather superficial knowledge of certain things about cognitive science and education.
