The Cost of Elective Induction of Labor

The burden of evidence lies towards favoring an elective induction of labor at 39 weeks. However as our podcast family member correctly stated this isn't necessarily appropriate for everyone. In the only study where outpatient cost data was also available and to part them outpatient costs were less for women undergoing elective induction compared with expected management.
