Is There a Place for in-Person Interaction?
One great equalizer, or one little trick that i did, and this was the benefit of travelling around and working in a global company, i tried to meet as many of my colleagues as possible. One beer or one dinner with some one transforms your relationship with them. You see, it's a real person. It's not anapi on the other side just rhobotically responding to your messages or cranking out work. And so i think there's always that place for in person if companies have a large number of people who have not met one another. So i've tried to do in order to meet that social need that you have at work is to look for social interaction outside
