Is There a Place for in-Person Interaction?

One great equalizer, or one little trick that i did, and this was the benefit of travelling around and working in a global company, i tried to meet as many of my colleagues as possible. One beer or one dinner with some one transforms your relationship with them. You see, it's a real person. It's not anapi on the other side just rhobotically responding to your messages or cranking out work. And so i think there's always that place for in person if companies have a large number of people who have not met one another.
