President Obama says he will not sign a product liability bill that would let wrongdoers off the hook. A woman was awarded $2.9 million by a jury for serious burn she suffered after a hot cup of McDonald's coffee spilled on the line. Stella Liebeck never wanted to be the face of frivolous lawsuits, her daughters say. She died in 2004 aged 91.
