The Different Views of Jesus

The New Testament acknowledges that Jesus is a pre-existent divine being who took on human form. He wasn't just adopted by God at his baptism like some early heretics claimed. The actual origin of the teaching that Jesus is both God and man is something that goes back to the ministry of Jesus. And there's no reasonable reason to doubt that as scholars like Hurtado and Baucom have documented.
