The One Day Volatility Index Starts Today
The CBOE released a one day volatility index because they were trying to find something that could track the fact that zero days to expiration options have become such a popular thing. The regular VIX is a 30-day index, so it wasn't catching all of that activity. Alfonso Pecatiello joins us for an excellent conversation on his outlook for the economy and markets.
