The Origins of Atoms
The universe was dark for about 300,000 years after the Big Bang. The early atoms that formed were very simple: hydrogen and helium. When you drink a glass of H2O today, it's almost entirely made from these first molecules. More complex atoms were formed later by stars or supernova explosions.
