Nita's Opposition to Utilitarianism
Nita argues that pleasure and pain, since they exist solely within the nervous system as a reaction to a physiological stimulus, an external stimulus, cannot themselves be used to judge the value of existence. As such, they are stimulants to act in a certain way, or to push us to act inA certain way. When we feel pleasure, we feel pleasure because our physiology is telling us that what we're doing is good,. due to inputs of evolutionary data that's been going into our d an a for millions of years.
