The confidence we hold in individual decisions modulates how we protess new information. So if you are very confident, even more likely to suffer from confirmation by is. The problem comes when we have poor master cognition. If i'm the kind of person who is highly confident bi'm wrong, that's a problem, right? Because that's when i'll refuse to listen to alternative opinions. That's when i will presumably start making bad decisions.
