I have a theory about this just from observation but also my homie shout out Luis and Akola neurologist out of New York. I think that it's because we have so many more ways now consistent ways throughout the day because of really smartphones to get dopamine hits. When there are consecutive enough lows meaning something doesn't trigger that dopamine hit that positive feedback loop we quickly put it away. We're experiencing randomly reinforced behavior it's like playing a slot machine in Vegas yeah you're gonna get that that win.
