The Bridge of Time

The bridge resembled an uneven, towering pile of stones and bricks. The upper part of the bridge was marked with time weathered inscriptions that were no longer legible. Right at the top, seemingly growing out of the marble, was a small tree with curved branches and yellow leaves. In certain lights, the leaves turned golden, a dark flame like orange when the sun hit the tree. Reminded her of a minora, a beautiful burning candelabra. And in that moment, the whole structure seemed like a portal to another world.
