Do We Really Need Specialized Slash Expert Knowledge?

In an ideal world, if there's a group that has a large body of specialized knowledge, then i would defer to them. But after we've lived through two years of deferring to people because they have degrees, and i see what destructive, totalitarian nonsense comes out of them, i don't know how much longer ican do that,. probably not. So this is why, for in so many cases, we need to look to independent scholars like yourself to get the full truth.
