The Prophets Are the Lord's Interpreters, and He Loves Us
Prophets are the lord's interpreters, and god is so much closer to us than we realize. But i do find it interesting sometimes that we sometimes assume god isn't as close as he really is. Listen to the interpreters a little more closely, and you'll understand very little has to be lost in translation. Well, more than understand us, he loves us. We don't know enough about simeon. I don't know his role in the betrayal of joseph when he was young ia. The scriptures don't give us a clue. And i think his tears are tears of love and tears of joy.
