Can Tardigrades Survive Cosmic Radiation?

The European Space Agency sent up a packet of Tardigrades as one of many experiments conducted during a mission. They were exposed to the vacuum of space, even to cosmic radiation. This is stuff that could really mess up a human. But sure enough, upon retrieval, these Tardigrade were found to survive the process with no real ill effects.
