Miyamoto and the Wii

Chris: The Wii is the biggest victory of Miyamoto's entire career. He says he was just trying to swing big and do something completely new like in Pokemon snaps development. In an old interview Miyamoto talked about being frustrated with younger generation developers for not coming up with a revolutionary idea. "I really wanted them to have fire in their bellies but everyone's just kind of repeating genres we've done before" - Miyamoto.
