The Paleo Endemism of the Inyo Mountains

Peridoli is an example of a recent radiation. They're spreading across this island system and the continent and living on top of these mountains. The mountains are, of course, where they're able to kind of hang out. They act as refugia. And it's cool. It just makes you think about all these things, climate change, the long, spans, expansive geologic time and how tiny our fucking meager human lives are.
