"It's developmentally appropriate for teenagers to act like jerks part of the time," she says. "I don't know hanging on to a little bit of childhood for a little bit longer." She admits her own kind of naivete or you know maybe judge side from way back when. But I still think there's a place for trick or treating teenagers even if their behavior on the outside isn't what you would hope because they are developing people.
