How to Make a Deal With Landlords
If you don't have a pet in place, point that out. There's a reason why there's a pet deposit and they make you pay more cause a lot of times pets can tear up the property. Another thing you could do is offer to extend the termination notice that you have to give the landlord from 30 to 90 days. If it's like a 12 unit apartment building, and that landlord only has five of those units rented, for example, you can say, hey, if i find referras, will you reduce my rent or give me a month's free rent?
