Dan O'Brien: Do we really need BBC sounds? Why can't we just let Apple handle it? Or whoever? I think it's all about we have all this creative content and all this unique content for the BBC. And however niche to think you will be interested in, it will be always available. We don't care what model of TV, whether you have a Toshiba or a Samsung or a Panasonic TV. The BBC doesn't make its own TVs. We simply make the content, right? And then it comes out on whatever device you've got. Doing our own thing means that we're not giving control to the other players. So there's the bad side as well
