Leonardo Da Vinci's Notebooks

Leonardo da Vinci was largely self-taught, devouring every book he could get his hands on. He posited that the faint glow on the face of a new moon results from the rays of the sun reflecting off of the Earth's oceans. In Leonardo's notebooks we see art existing side by side with science. The line between the two is blurred or virtually non-existent.
