CB Cummins and the Lincoln Monument

George Hull and his pal, HB Martin, were cruising around Fort Dodge looking for action. They found out about a gypsum quarry owner named CB Cummins. The pair tried to get a contract with Cummins to cut out a block of gypsum that would be 12 feet long by 3 and a half feet wide and two feet thick. "I'm not going to do business with them at any price," Cummins said.
