What Language Comes From the Bible?

There's an incredible amount of language which was originally written in the bible. The official translation was done by a committee of different people, ri but it drew heavily on one person, wycliffe, who did it about a hundred years before. But that was unofficial, and the books were burned. There's e things like, a broken heart comes from the bible. By the skin of your teeth. Ah, or when somebody bites the dust, eat, drink and be merry. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Pride comes before a fall. Man does not live on bread alone. And so another place where language comes from, apparently, is the bible.
