The US Senate Is Too Big to Be Run by a Single House
One half of the country gets 18 senators, the other half 82. The senate is dramatically more conservative than the country as a whole. Sandy levinson also wants to make it easier to get rid of a bad president. He says we should also consider just getting rid of the presidency and moving to a parliamentary system like most other democracies in the world.
