The Attorney Client Privilege in the Mar-a-Lago Case
There is no attorney client privilege. There is no relying on counsel privilege. Advice counts for even less if legally you can demonstrate at one point or another that they were part of the illegal scheme, right? That's right. The issue here is going to be was the interplay between the 12th Amendment and the Electoral Count Act as it existed before they amended it. Did it have sufficient play in the joints that constitutional law professor John Eastman had such gravitas in this particular esoteric area of the law that it made sense for Trump to listen to him when everybody else was telling him it was cockamaming?
