Costa Rica Without a Military
Costa rica has not had a civil war since 19 forty eight. The military is the organization that defends the country during any kind of conflict or war. A strong army can help secure peace treaties encourage countries to become your allya, increase negotiating power with other countries and give a country diplomatic and intelligence leverage. Having a military can be a useful tool in our modern world.
