Stable Coins - Are They Banks?
The wall street journal is reporting that the byden administration will officially seek to regulate stable coin issues as banks. Amits are a little puzzling because stable coins mostly don't act like banks. So, yes, we'll see if that happens. Ie, i think it would probably bring a lot more capital into the industry if there is f d c insurance here.
