The Pandemic

Ben Cohen: I've been having a great time these last few years. The pandemic and associated mayhem probably had less impact on what I've been doing in AI than on many parts of the economy. You see, like a 30% swing in optimism. And that's one of the things that's driving this crazy, but too low since 2011. He says we're looking at a national increase in homelessness of like 5,600% because of the pandemic.
