The History of Risk in Capital Markets
I still remember. I think it was in the 1990s, my first exposure would have been his remarkable story of risk book. That was one of those eye openers for me to get me thinking about risk in math terms. All those great stories he had, just fantastic stuff. Who could imagine writing a book called Against the Gods and having it be a bestseller? At that time, it wasn't like today where a really prominent person could say on social media, you must read this book. It takes off perhaps like a Talibook or something.
