The History of No Now Woo-Roo

In 1824, an ex-convict named Mary Reebie applied for a land grant in this area on the southern side of the Schullhaven River. That's because that's when America became aware of Australia and we're so stupid. The houses have gone up a lot in the last year too as a lot of places have. So it was originally known by the Europeans as no now woo-roo. It was pronounced now a now up by the indigenous Australians to the area.
