Esther's Ghost

The polter geist stopped when esther was ill with diphtheria. On her first night back, she told jane thata oce had told her it was some one who had once been alive, but he had been dead for some time. While they were discussing all this, a lighted match was said to fall from the ceiling on to the bed. And then one of esther's dresses caught fire. The family was again able to extinguish it quickly.
