i used to believe that the american right was too dogmatically committed to certain precepts a to be tempted by fashism. The idea that talking about limited government, free trade, free minds and property rights were facistic just struck me as so slanderously ridiculous. i'll talk more at some point about where i went wrong with the whole thing. We don't have we have, historically, with the exception of a brief moment during e war one, we have had nothing that looks really like fashism here for the same reasons we haven't had socialism.
