Driscoll resigned from his church in the fall of 20 14 after being accused of abusive behaviour. As the new calvinism expanded, men like james macdonald and lian chevigian became prominent voices in the movement. They were chatty, relevant, hip, funny, culturally savy and unqualified. Driscoll wasn't alone in his quest for influence.
