I'm in a Job Interview, Can You Solve This Hard Logic Puzzle for Me?

I first met David last year at the React rally conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was also giving a talk that year about finite state machines in react. And it was a topic that for me was super interesting because I've done some work with state machines in the past. If you have any kind of formal training in programming, if not, hopefully today we'll be able to talk about a little bit of that too and kind of help you understand what they're useful for.
