The Future of Music Production

I think for Plato the written word destroyed the memory and that there's truth to that right yeah oh yeah we don't memorize books anymore we don't Memorize large poems anymore but I wouldn't say that that destroyed the humanities or the endeavor that the humanities are after. The question is who's going to be compensated from that and so we kind of go back to the whole metallic issue with Napster we get to issues of you know profiting from somebody else's giftedness. It will change how we do that and how we write those contracts but at the same time that's a much needed thing because every person who makes a record will tell you that it's very much a predatory thing
