The Early Canon and the Disagreement Over It
This early canon included 22 of the 27 books of the New Testament. There was really no meaningful dispute over 22 out of 27 were fairly established so when they say there was disagreement they mean just over a handful and these are mostly very small books. It's going to take time for the historical dust to settle what I always tell people is well you know if it took a few centuries to get the kinks worked out in some of these smaller books or why is that bother you so much?
