In May 2002 a magazine offered a $10,000 Danish crona reward which was just over $2,000 AUD at the time to a reader who could snap a picture of Mary and Frederick together. Many speculated around this time that they would be getting Mary the following May but people were wrong. Months went by and still nothing. In January 2003 they kissed each other for the first time in public on the dock of Mary's hometown in Hobart where Frederick was sailing in the dragon class with championships. Now even though this was just a kiss on the cheek. It wasn't even a real kiss. Denmark still went crazy for it guys as did the Aussies. This is like embarrassing
