The Second Earthquake

"I've never felt vertical so fast," he says of the first earthquake. "Just imagine you're going up to the window on the 64th floor of a skyscraper and then you see the fucking building just shift like that." He recalls being in an elevator with a Japanese woman who looked terrified when it happened. The second quake was stronger than the first one, but not as strong.
