The Los Angeles Board of Supervisors Approves a Significant Reparations Payment
The state said they had $25 billion shortfall. But it looks more like $45 billion because what's happening, Jack, is that about five things are in a perfect storm right now in California. And we've got one third of the welfare recipients in the United States. We've got one sixth of the population, one fifth of the population lives below the poverty line. So when I drive across California every week and I see the underbelly of California, it's like a third world country.
