The Toledo Anti-Racism Protests
The Toledo anti-racism protests really began when a national socialist movement member pulled a gun on two black children that were playing in the alley behind his house. A group of people cut back behind a school to try and cut them off and got teargassed. There was riding on and off for like three days in this neighborhood after this. People tried to burn this Nazi's house down. And so there were a number of things that were really important about that day I think for for us. It really did point to the effectiveness of community anti-fascist work.
