The Importance of Bidirectional Communication
Web sockets was designed as a bidirectional communication on top of HTTP. We used it as a raw, medium to send data back and forth. The Web socket protocol is uses certain things that are just weird. And we use transfer chunk encoding for that and a specific content type to say, event stream.
