There are four attachment styles, one of which really relates to unrequited love and then there's a kind of two that are in the middle. Secure attachment is like the gold standard for people with this style they have the ability to form secure loving relationships you know who don't want intimacy. Anxious attachment is marked by like deep fear of abandonment and cleaning behavior; avoidant or dismissive is also known as disorganized attachment. The type of bond someone has with their primary caretaker goes on to define their attachment style.
