How to Use Tau Cheers, Thanks

Tau is a shortening of thank you. It's something that we often teach our kids to say in order to say thank you when they're really young because it's a single syllable, right? So yeah, you most frequently hear it with children or people interacting with children. You can also use it as a way of saying thank you if someone brings you a coffee at a cafe. Listen out to what people use too. This is a good way of learning how to sound more native or natural when speaking English. Just go with mate, right? When in doubt, go with mate.
